Dry Carpet Cleaning Or Steam Carpet Cleaning?

There are two main ways to have your Carpet Cleaned these days: Dry Carpet Cleaning or Steam Carpet Cleaning. So what’s the difference between Carpet Cleaning and Steam Carpet Cleaning and which one should you choose?

Steam Carpet Cleaning:
Steam Carpet Cleaning is almost exactly what it sounds like. Basically, steam is used to loose and remove any dirt from your carpets. There are so many different types of Steam Carpet Cleaners out on the market (and we at Supaclean use only the best machines) but the general concept is the same for all of them (only the quality differs). A steam cleaner doesn't use any type of chemicals but only the amazing power of steam. If you are looking to be chemical free in your home, this is the way to go. Steam Carpet Cleaning is chemical free which means its good if you have Children as there is no harmful chemicals used.

Dry Carpet Cleaning:
Dry Carpet Cleaning is very different from Steam Carpet Cleaning. By name by nature, no liquid is used during Dry Carpet Cleaning. Instead, a powder (consisting of special carpet cleaning chemicals) is sprinkled onto the floor and left for a little while. It is then vacuumed out of the carpet, leaving you with a clean and fantastic smelling carpet. The main benefit of Dry Carpet Cleaning is a lot less moisture and dampness, increasing drying times and shortening the period you have to wait before walking around again!
